Abstract
One of the most frequently cited barriers to addressing the needs of vulnerable children in South Africa is poor collaboration between key stakeholders. In an effort to promote and improve collaboration for children, ACESS commissioned this review of national and provincial co-operative governance structures. The review collates information on co-operative governance structures which address key issues of relevance to children, including child rights, child care and protection, health, education, social security, early childhood development, HIV and AIDS, disability, child justice and water and sanitation. The report is intended as a resource for anyone involved in policy development, service delivery, research or advocacy for children.
