The study formed part of the Project SUSTAIN (NUFU Grant) for research in Mathematics, Science and Technology in which various universities participated. These universities are the University of Pretoria and the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, the University of Malawi, the University of Zambia, the University of Bergen and the University of Life Sciences in Oslo, Norway.
